The Cyprus Youth Clubs Organization (ΚΟΚΕΝ) organized and implemented 1 dissemination workshops (multiplier events) in Lemesos, Cyprus.

Description of the Event

  • Following the completion of the MYCOMM project, a stakeholder events was organised to ensure the sustainability and long-term impact of the project’s outcomes. The event brought together youth workers from youth organisations in Cyprus that work with migrant and refugee. They have been informed about MyCOMM project, and had previously expressed interest in its methodology, products and results.

  • The event showcased project practices and products that youth workers can use in their daily lives to empower migrants and refugees, and for them to gain advocacy skills through knowledge of audiovisual resources and social platforms. 

  • Participants believe that they can make use of the project’s Policy Briefs at the local level, in their municipalities, to improve local-level policies for the integration of migrants and refugees.

  • As a result of this event, participants expressed interest in utilising the project resources and methodologies in their daily practice, ensuring ongoing use of the resources.
