Through non-formal education, we create a space for children and young people to develop critical awareness and empower them to challenge the inequalities in our world. We educate and campaign for an inclusive and equal society. Therefore, we combat any kind of discrimination such as fascism, racism, xenophobia, homophobia, trans*phobia and misogyny within and outside of our organisations. We are a feminist organisation fighting against patriarchy and for equality of all genders. We reject the gender binary and recognise there are more than two genders. We educate for equal rights and awareness of gender stereotypes, discrimination and privileges. |
IFLRY - International Federation of Liberal Youth | https://www.iflry.com/ | Germany | INGO | We believe in the universality and indivisibility of human rights. As liberals we strive for a free and tolerant society without any form of discrimination, with equal opportunities, respect for the individual and the minorities. These goals can only be reached through a democratic system of governance. As liberals and radicals we are in favour of a market economy operating within the limits of a fair distribution of wealth and ecological sustainability. To reach the goal of equal opportunities, distribution of wealth has to take place within the states as well as between them. |
FYEG - Federation of Young European Greens | https://fyeg.org/ | Belgium | INGO | FYEG is the European umbrella organisation for Young Green organisations from all over the continent, from Azerbaijan to Ireland and from Cyprus to Norway. Our member organisations comprise various backgrounds: local ecological groups, student unions, youth wings of Green parties and Green Youth NGOs. In addition, we are also the independent, official youth wing of the European Green Party (EGP). Our political work focuses on a European level. This is not limited to lobbying inside the European Parliament. FYEG is also involved on a street level, running campaigns together with its Member Organisations, organizing events and supporting actions. |
EDS - European Democrat Students | http://www.edsnet.eu/ | Belgium | INGO | European Democrat Students (EDS) as pan-European centre-right student and youth political association is the official student organisation of the European People’s Party (EPP). Founded in Vienna by Scandinavian, German and Austrian students in 1961, our organisation represents over a million students and young people in 39 member organisations from 33 countries in Europe. This makes us the largest youth organisation in Europe. We believe that political action must be based on firm values. A civilised society consists of a certain set of inviolable rights for its citizens and definite boundaries for the actions of the state and the use of power. Europe consists of many different peoples and societies which are diverse as the human beings themselves. As such, we endorse that society constitutes the framework for Mankind‘s search and realisation of social relations, wealth, security and self-fulfilment. |
AER - Assembly of European Regions | https://aer.eu/ | Belgium | INGO | The Assembly of European Regions (AER) is the largest independent network of regions in wider Europe, gathering regions from 35 countries – from Norway to Turkey and from Georgia to Portugal. AER is present everywhere on the European continent, inside and outside the European Union. AER is the place to be for regional stakeholders across the European continent: politicians, officers, experts, advisors… We stand strong to promote a Europe that embraces its diversity to thrive in a global world. With member regions from 30 countries, AER is the voice of regional authorities since 1985 and has played a pivotal role in recognising regions as key players in the European construction. We believe that a prosperous, multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and multi-lingual Europe goes hand in hand with prosperous regions. We support our members to improve their policies by exchanging experiences, sharing practices and providing capacity building. We pride ourselves in our bottom-up approach and strive to always be concrete in our activities and actions to make a difference. Regional youth - YRN (ICE partner) |
