D2.2 Report on current capacity in youth organisations targeting migrant and refugees
KNOWLEDGE OF YOUTH ORGANISATIONS WORKING WITH MIGRANTS AND REFUGEES
Focus of Work Package 2
Conducting a SWOT analysis of youth organisations
Partner organisations carried out a SWOT assessment of migrant and refugee youth organisations by evaluating their public advocacy capacity, communications, use of social media and audiovisual capacity. For this purpose, a specific SWOT tool was developed to study these specific capacities. It was then sent to all organisations mapped in D2.1.
From the organisations’ responses, the report of this deliverable will compare the organisational and representative capacity of the targeted youth organisations, their networking and outreach, their digital and audiovisual competences, and their use of social media, as well as their ongoing actions targeting migrants and refugees. The report outlines the needs of these organisations to strengthen their role in civil society and influence public opinion.
WP2 Building a training framework for youth organisations: creating a common public advocacy language regrading migrant and refugee issues.
This work package is designed to consolidate the working relationship of the beneficiary youth organisations that will benefit from the MYCOMM Training Programme and ultimately come together in a stronger EU network for advocacy for young migrants and refugees. The final outcome of this WP2 will be the basis for the development of the structure and content of the training programme (WP3).
